So my parents decided to wait to make the official announcement. They thought it would be a good idea to announce it to family and friends on Christmas when we were all gathered together. Plus, that would mark the official 12 weeks, meaning less chances of well...me not sticking around (not like that was going to happen) but still... better safe then sorry.
Momma decided it would be a fun idea to put the pee sticks (yup she kept them for a really long time) in the Christmas tree and take pics of it. Dunno why, guess its an artsy thing. But they didn't stay there for long... in case someone would see. I guess the sole purpose was so that she can blog about it. (I'm guessing)
So the family arrived, we ate brunch, unwrapped gifts and then decided to play charades. Mommy got up (on the last turn) and pretended to read the card and went ahead and drew. This was all planned before hand and it's actually daddy who game up with the idea. She drew a ‘I am pregnant’ drawing. How did she do that?

At the end when they finally figured it out… they didn’t catch on. They thought it was part of the game… but when momma said ‘for real’ the house went nuts. Grandma lost it… and cried for hours, she jumped on the phone and start telling everyone she was going be a grandma for the first time. It was so cute.
Momma and auntie Stephy also made everyone a Christmas ball saying ‘Auntie Tanya’s first Christmas’ ‘Grandpa’s first Christmas’ .. etc so that this time next year, we can all put them in the tree and add my ball too. You know "Baby’s first Christmas" … hehe
